Villa "Patty" - Filicudi
"Villa Patty" is a traditional eolian style villa located in "fossetta - Pecorini", near the Church of Pecorini.
The villa is gorgeous, in pure aeolian style, great furnitures, many big terraces surrounded by a beautiful garden with many ornamental palnts and fruit trees ( delicious figs are ready in august).
The villa is made up of 2 big double-bed rooms, a kitchen with dining area, 2 bathroom (one for room),a loft with a double-bed in the middle room.

The living room ("soggiorno"), the bedroom ( "stanza da letto"), the bathrooms ("bagno"), the loft ("soppalco"), the kitchen ("cucina"), the terraces ("terrazza"). Everything surrounded by terraces and gardens.
Two main entrances: one on the nortern side, one on the southern side.
The circled area in the plan is an independent unit, we call it "tana", which is rented apart from villa patty.
This room + bathroom unit shares with villa patty only the southern entry, which it on a lower level from the terraces (there's a stair).

Here's a detail of the villa's terraces, facing south, partially covered with shadowing canes so you can choose between a gorgeous sunbathing or a sweet relaxing nap in the shadows!

Living room ( the one in the middle), satellite TV (tons of free channels from all over the world!). Beyond the arc there's the kitchen ( no door ).
A detail of the kitchen. The dining area can be set up with one or two beds in the summer, as usually our guests enjoy breakfast outside in the big table in the south terrace.

This is the bathroom of the living room, on the north side of the villa.
the shower
This stair leads to the path crossing Fossetta locality. On the left you get to the main street ( about 50mt) and the ample private parking area is just 20 meters far. On the right the path leads to the traditional ancient stair-path leading to pecorini mare (going down) and the church of pecorini ( going up).
The door on the right under the stairsleads to the apartment "tana", which is not considered part of the villa.

Near the house, at 10 minutes walking, 1 minute by car, there are: food shops, groceries, coffe and cappucini bar, pizzerias, restaurants, disco. The noise of none of the above can be heard frm the house (expecially the Disco!). So the place is great for absolute relax! |
On the island you can rent scooters, boats, rubber-dinghys,canoas,windsurfs, scuba equipment. |
